What we do
Most places pick one. Directories keep filing us as a restaurant, or a café, or a grocery store, and each of them is only a third right.
Noodle soups, pho, Thai curries and Vietnamese baguettes, cooked to order at the counter. A board behind the till carries the chef's rotating Northern Thai and Shan specials.
A room to sit in rather than a queue to join. Loose-leaf teas by the pot, Vietnamese phin drip coffee, and homemade cakes and scones alongside them.
The shelves that supply the kitchen are the shelves you shop from: dry, fresh and canned East and South East Asian produce, plus the loose-leaf teas by weight.
The menu changes with what the kitchen has in, and the specials board changes more often than that. Call the shop on 01273 483888 if you want to know what is on today.
